Cognitive Development

Cognitive Development

If your child exhibits poor academic performance, poor behaviour, or learning disabilities, we can provide assessment, profiling, and personalised interventions. Our processes are tested and proven, and supported by state-of-the-art empirical neuropsychological research.

Problem Overview

Poor cognitive fitness in youths contributes to poor academic performance, behavioural and learning disabilities (eg. poor stress management, poor self-regulation, autism, anxiety, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia). Five neuropsychological domains are critical to cognitive fitness that impacts the process of learning in youths:

Improvements are linked to better comprehension, especially for youths with ADHD, Dyslexia, and Anxiety disorders.
Processing Speed
(Speed & Accuracy)
improvements are linked to fluency and better execution of complex academic tasks.
Executive Function
(Planning & Strategy)
Improvements are linked to better metacognitive skills (to learn, reflect & strategise), hence enhancing self-regulation, especially for youths with behavioural, social and affective disorders.
Episodic Memory
(Key Component of Learning)
The different ways memories are recorded corresponds to different teaching & learning styles. Improvements here are important, especially for youths with psychiatric disorders.
Working Memory
(Calculation & Problem Solving)
Improvements are linked to better problem solving, reasoning and mathematical abilities.

Our Solution

Neuroplasticity (the brain's ability to change and adapt as a result of experience) allows targeted interventions to enhance cognitive fitness in youths. We have developed a proven process in which results are demonstrable within just 1 school term:

Assess / Profile

To identify cognitive domains for improvement

Train Cognitive Fitness

of required domains on our adaptive gamefied training app, just 15 minutes daily

Monitor and Improve

for demonstrable results and to maintain ability gains
